Extreme Furniture For Challenging Environments - Craftwork’s Como Extreme Chairs Are Designed For The Most Demanding Care Home Environments

Craftwork has developed two extreme chairs, an easy chair and a desk chair to add to it’s Como range of sturdy furniture.  An upright desk or dining chair and a more relaxed easy chair (shown in Panaz cadet).

Both models are extremely sturdy, highly impact resistant and feature sealed gaps to avoid the secretion of contraband.  Both are readily moved but too heavy to throw and can be further weighted if required to give extremely robust furniture for all challenging environments - for children or adults with learning difficulties, autism or behavioural challenges.

The side panels are made from MF MDF with rounded polished edges (to avoid using edge banding - which can come off with time).  Both chairs are upholstered in a way that avoids visible staples.

The side panels are available in our standard range of 3 colours - light oak, maple or beech.
